To teach learners about FOIL (First Outside Inside Last). • What would you like learners to learn from this project? I want learners to learn the importance of FOIL as this is a very important term in Mathematics. FOIL is used from grade 7 upwards. • For what purpose did you design this project in relation to the school curriculum topic? In Mathematics we often use two expressions that we need to multiply (binomials). The FOIL method can be used to find the product. It makes sure that each term in the binomial is multiplied by the terms in the other binomial to get the right answer. • What purpose do the coding blocks, images, audio, backdrops serve in relation to this project? I have included Sprites explaining the term FOIL. The Sprites move around as well. I have used my own voice to explain. My backdrops and Sprites are Mathematically orientated.
