Welcome to the Litter Guide for TSS! Before you get started here, make sure you've read through Litter Rolling first, as you are expected to know all the information shared in that project to understand this one. Litter Rolling: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/973054812/ There is not a certain amount of time your litter can be open, but do note that in-rp events (such as your cat being deleted for inactivity or exile/clan changes) can forcefully cancel your litter. - Typically, the faster it closes the better. Most people don't like to wait extended periods for a litter to close. - Please inform @tss-roleplay when your litter closes so we know to check the main studio for the kits' sign-ups. If you want to close a selective litter but there are leftover kits, you may either scrap the leftover kits or turn your litter FCFS so that the litter may close. - Please notify @kretlep when turning a selective litter FCFS. You cannot play your own kit nor pre-choose the personality or skills of the kits in your litter. You cannot have another litter until your previous litter has reached apprenticehood. If your kit is a loner, that would just be 6 moons old. You may only adopt species of kits that correspond to where your cat lives. It does not matter what species the adoptive parent is. - When using certain tokens, you may at times insert a kit that may not follow this rule into a litter. - Raging Tides = Seacat - Everlasting Volcano = Pyrocat - Phantom's Gorge = Caverncat - Vanishing Peaks = Falconcat - Arctic Isle = Icecat - Barren Lands = Normal cat Forbidden couples that adopt kits may only split them between Clans in a way that the species match their host Clan. - Seacats go to SeaClan, pyrocats go to PyroClan, and so forth. Forbidden couples with biological kits can split kits between Clans without issue. If ANY of your kits require research, you yourself as the host have to submit your OWN research on those conditions. + MAKING YOUR LITTER + - Your litter MUST be one of the following when it comes to deciding winners. ***SELECTIVE: You write an application forum for interested roleplayers to fill out. You then pick from the applicant pool for "results" after a designated closing date. ***WHEELSPIN: You write an application forum for interested roleplayers to fill out. You then choose a winner from all applicants via a random wheel spin after a designed closing date. ***FIRST COME FIRST SERVE (FCFS): You write an application forum for interested roleplayers to fill out. The first person who fills out the forum correctly gets to have the kit. You MUST provide the following information for each kit in the project and/or description: Name of Kit Assigned gender at birth (male, female, or intersex) **AIAB kits will always be infertile. While in humans it is common for an intersex person to be able to reproduce, in CATS they are almost always sterile. Height when kit is fully grown Age when found (ONLY for adopted litters) Visual depiction of kit - You can either draw these yourself, color in the bases inside the project, or ask someone else to draw them for you. - Any flame-wielding kits will need both an ignited and unignited depiction Written description of kit's appearance (OPTIONAL) You will then need to create a forum for users to fill out to apply for the kit. You can make your own forum, or use the basic one provided here. To prove you’ve read this guide, please reply to your rolling confirmation with a type of bird. Username | About you | Kit you are applying for | Kit's gender and sexuality (can be future) | Kit's personality | RP example | Research (only required if the kit you are applying for has a disability/disorder) All biological kits will start roleplaying at 1 moon old instead of 0 since it's no fun to rp a newborn kit. All adopted kits must be found within the age range of 2-4 moons old If you're having hybrid kits, please read the Hybrid Guide here: - Any other questions? Ask in the comments!
