Welcome to Scratch Drag Racing. Here you are a young racer looking for fame. When you first start the game, you have to go to shop to buy a Stage 1 car. If you are in phone version, tap right side for next car and left side for previous car. If on computer, left and right arrow keys. Go to Map to see races you can race. Click on a logo to see an introduction of this race mode. Then you can press either Y (for Yes) or N (for No) depending on do you want to race this race right now. When the countdown starts, press the paddle next to the countdown right when timer reaches 0. To be as quick as possible shift gears by pressing the paddle with + on it (or up arrow key) when the needle is in the green zone. If you bought nitro, use it in a race by clicking the nitro button or spacebar. It is the most powerful when you are on 3rd gear. If you win, you get more money. Also, you can upgrade your car to make it faster. Throughout the game, there are many times when a ``PP`` of the car is displayed. PP stands for Performance Points and the more PP your car has, the better is acceleration or the higher is your final speed. Now i will explain every race mode Quick Race (green) - Normal race. Choose one of 3 difficulties and distances. When distance is set to 1, lenght will be 1/4 mile. When 2, 1/2 mile and 3, 1 mile Team Battle (red) - The plot of this game. Beat all teams. There is 1 team in every stage. You will have to race the boss 3 times. Stage 5 team battle will be a tournament. Win the tournament to be #1. Test Drive (blue) - Opponent will be in the same car. Use this race to experiment different techniques. Chance Race (orange) Every time you go to the map section, there is 5% chance of unlocking it. Here, you will be put in opponents car. Online Mode (yellow) Here you will race against the car of a Scratcher who played just before you. NB! Must have access to Scratch cloud data! SDR Championship (golden / white) A big tournament unlocked after beating Team Battle. 5 rounds. The referee will explain everything. Daily Events (white/golden) Unlocked after beating LB. Every workday there is a small cup with a certain Stage 5 car. Race with that particular car and if you win 20 times, you will get a protuned version of that car.
