This project is to demonstrate refraction of light. The blue line represents the glass. It will take these parameters: theta1(t1) degrees or the direction of original stream of light. ------------------IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS-------------- n1 which is the first medium of refraction. It is set by default to 1.0003 which is the index of air. n2 is the medium of the glass. It is default 1.5571 but it can be changed **USING THE SPACE BAR**. Move the slider around to change the direction of light to see the refraction take place. Yellow represents the original stream of light and orange represents the light after it hits the second index of refraction.
I used snell's law for this project. It took 2 days for me to make. Snell's law is a law used for calculating the angle of refraction of an object. When the light reaches a threshold greater than the critical angle, it will reflect instead of refract. This is called Total Internal Reflection
