Navigating Our Community: The Different Studios and How to Use Them ___________________________________________ESSENTIALS / HOME This is the main Ant-Keepers of Scratch studio. This is for posting announcements and essential information. Please ask one of the owners ( @BCD1313 or @ItzValravn ) if you would like to add something here. This mainly includes ant care guides, rules, and other important things. ____________________________________________GENERAL https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/35170090 This is what it sounds like- it's for any content which doesn't fall into the other categories. Mainly questions, and just to show off ant colonies. (Larger ant colony posts may be added to the Blog page.) __________________________________________ ANTING https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/35170127 This studio is for anything which has to do with - Catching queen ants - Nuptial flights - Help with finding ants - Photography of ants which does not fall into other categories. ____________________________________________ ANT IDENTIFICATION https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/35170097 This studio is for identifying ants- quite self-explanatory. Asking for IDs should include the following information: - Date of capture/find - Location (not more specific than county as to keep our users safe - more like a state/province) - Color of ant - Size of ant (use a ruler if you can, estimates can be wrong! Please use millimeters.) - Other helpful features such as if the ant can sting, or it's petiole count. Queens usually don't sting, so for queens stinging is not accurate. ____________________________________________ DEBATE https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/35170108 For debating things related to ants. Please try to keep debates civil- this is for DEBATES not ARGUMENTS. These debates will be moderated. ____________________________________________ BLOGGING This is for documenting your ant colonies. Update in either a slide-show fashion or in the description. Photos are appreciated! __________________________________________ OFF TOPIC Things not related to ants- (they still have to follow our rules though, just not the on-topic rule.)
