READ IT Hey guys I made an Emperor's family art but now it looks so horrible but there u go! ( full screen I beg you ) If you can't read the names I'll write em here: Emperor Kaiser, First Empress Edaoin, her kids Cain the First prince and Emilia the Second princess, Second Empress Astrid, her kids Erede the Second Prince and Isabella the First Princess, Third Empress Laqueta, her daughter Mallory the Third Princess, Fourth Empress Cattiva, her kids Tristan the Third Prince and Viggo the Fourth Prince, and finally Fifth Empress Pieta and her daughter Ainsley. A little bit of background for those ocs: From a young age, Kaiser, being the third prince of empire Dorate, was fighting with his brothers for the throne, but then when the war with empire Nemico (which lasted for 5 years) started, the first prince had to fight on the front, while Kaiser, his younger brother Quade, and his older brother Terza were two little (11, 9, and 14 years old ). Since Terza didn't have golden eyes, the sign of the emperor, Kaiser became the next Emperor. He looks very cold and emotionless but he is very gentle around Astrid and some of the kids. Edaoin always loved the Kaiser, even as a kid. Being a daughter of a duke, she had a great chance of marrying him. The Duke made his beloved daughter's wish come true, and convinced the then Emperor to sign the document of engagement ( when Edaoin was 9 and Kaiser was 10 ). Although Kaiser always considered her boring and never replied to her love. That made Edaoin unconfident and irritated. She named her first son 'Cain' which means possessed to show her love to the emperor, but since he didn't have golden eyes neither Edaoin or Emperor took him seriously or as a heir. That made Cain be jealous of the second prince, who had a great chance of becoming the next emperor. Edaoin's daughter, Emilia was born a day after the first princess, and instead of being named Airis, which means best, was name Emilia, which means rival. She was always an unwanted child because she also didn't get the golden eyes. Emilia was also really mean to the first princess but that didn't seem to bother Isabella. Astrid (which means beautiful) grew up in a poor family of farmers and never even dreamed of becoming an empress. But once, when she was thirteen, she was walking in the forest, she found Kaiser. He was unconscious since he fell from a horse during the annual festival of hunting. Not knowing who he was, Astrid dragged him to her house and waited till he woke up. When Kaiser did, he was amazed with the girl's beauty and immediately fell in love. He granted her family the title of baron (the lowest one, but for peasants that was a lot) supposedly for 'saving the next Emperor' and later made her the second empress. She was always the prettiest and most loved empress, not only by the emperor but also by the people. Her kids, the twins, both got golden eyes and were potential heirs. That is why they were named like this, Erede, meaning heir, and Isabella, meaning blessed. Edaoin and her kids always tried to quarrel between them, but Erede and Isabella always loved each other and were the best siblings. Not only that, but the first empress's family always did bad stuff to the twins but it didn't bother Erede and Isabella. Edaoin's name means jealous. The war mostly ended because the emperor of the second empire kept loosing his people so he decided to give up his daughter as a consort for the next emperor. This daughter is Laqueta. Her name means quiet, and although she has the highest title among the empresses, she is the quietest one. She isn't loved by the secular society as a native from another empire, so she only comes to necessary banquets. She has one daughter from Kaiser, Mallory, but their marriage can be considered fictitious. Mallory, which means unlucky, wasn't considered the princess of the empire, but thanks to close friendship with the first princess, secular society started taking her seriously. Cattiva is a daughter of marquis. She is very clever and got good grades in the academy she went to. Her parents convinced the prince she will be a great empress and will help the politics and economy in the empire. Fortunately, her first child was born with golden eyes which strengthened her position in society. The boy's name is Tristan which means noisy and sad. As a kid he could never stay still and emperor got really irritated by that. So did everyone else. Nobody liked him and he felt lonely. Viggo, on the other hand is really quiet and clever. His name means war, and I decided that in the future he is gonna be a bloody tyrant. He is gonna restart the war with the empire Nemico and take over it's throne. I think being the youngest of the kids led him to that. (Description is too long so I'll write the rest in notes and credits)
the rest of the description is here Pieta was born in viscount's family. She has three older brothers. Supposedly, she had a different father from them because all of their hair is blonde and her's is black. Her mother died giving birth to her, and her brothers and father hated her. When the father died, the eldest brother became the viscount. Since they lived far away from the capital of the empire, they didn't know anything about the emperor, but assumed he is a tyrant. So the brother decided to marry his sister and Kaiser. Pieta has one daughter from the emperor, and she has albinism, but this empire's medicine doesn't know about this disease. When she was born, servants told Kaiser that the girl doesn't look like him or fifth empress, and he got really mad. Instead of naming her Sofa he named her Ainsley which means unwanted. Gossips about Pieta cheating on the emperor like her mother cheated on viscount started spreading and she now has a bad reputation. Later, when Ainsley turns 21 she will become a doctor and prove that it is just a disease and her mom didn't cheat. The emperor will apologize and make peasants do so too. Later Ainsley also found out that Pieta's mother didn't cheat on her husband -- what actually happened was that Pieta's servant kept feeding her with black sesame seeds to turn her hair black when she was little and couldn't tell anyone.
