hi my fairies~~ today's prj is some of my fav music artists!! i tried 2 go in depth with each of them n give my fav songs too<3 this isnt all of them n if u would like me to share some more lmk in the comments! ps: this isnt in any order just who i thought of first ^__^ ━━━━☆ MUS1C ARTISTS u should listen 2 ♪♥✧ ➽───────────────❥₊˚ let's start !! ❗ 　─── giveon ♥♥♥♥❗❗❗ 　　I LOVE GIVEON!! hes my fav artist rn and i could talk abt him forever hes so good and i love his music. so first the actual sound of his music. it kinda gives laufey imo but its way softer and a little faster. it has that same kinda heavy feel but it feels a lot lighter in terms of the actual music.. does that make sense?? idk how to explain but its lowk kinda ethereal. hes like if rnb had a baby jazz, its actual amazing. also he has one of the prettiest voices!! its like a glossy chocolate, like if has that smooth feel but still has that richness. super beautiful. AND HIS LYRICS?? my heart. his lyrics are amazing and i feel like we are connected cuz his lyrics r like narrating parts of my life its actually crazy. he has a way with words im telling u♥♥ like u can honestly feel ur heart beating faster when u listen to his songs!! thats like an overview<3 　　some of my fav songs by him are garden kisses, lie again, tryna be, make you mine (basically all of give or take, i've listened to the whole thing smm), and favorite mistake!! one of his more popuar songs is heartbreak anniversary which is also pretty good~~ the sad thing is i only know one person irl who loves giveon the way i do, but none of my closer friends do TT but i hope u guys give him a chance hes amazing ♥❗ 　─── laufey ✧✧ 　　soo i only recently started listening 2 laufey but I LOVE HER ♥♥ her songs have this slow n graceful feel to them, as if they're straight from a fairytale i actually feel like a little princess when i listen to her!! her voice is very rich and beautiful and shes literally magnolia (iykyk!!!)<3 her lyrics are also beautiful, she reminds me of a diary entry with each of her songs, combined with the prettiest poems ever. i want to write words like she does some day, shes actually incredible^__^ she also has a lot of jazz influence in her songs which i absolutely loveee♥ if u guys have any songs recs please lmk!! 　　some of my fav songs by her are DREAMER(<3), goddess, magnolia, valentine, and must be love!! they're so pretty and beautiful ♥ 　─── the weeknd ☆!! 　　 　　okok so i first got introduced to the weeknd when one of my classmates in 4th grade during early covid put a link to save your tears and i havent turned away since!! actually we got reunited the start of 8th grade and he and i talked a lot abt music and the weeknd and its very sweet! he likes giveon too!! but anyways the weeknd is the number 1 artist and for a reason^__^ he has the most angelic voice ever and all his songs tell a powerful narrative... even if u dont relate to it u feel taken into a story and its beautiful!! along with that i think hes a great first step into his sorta rnb/pop genre, which i've found amazing since i could find so many artists i like (like giveon!) because of him<3 　　some current favs of mine from him rn are nothing without you, take my breath, call out my name, and true colors!! my fav albums r my dear melancholy and starboy. my dear melancholy is a lot sadder.. from my experience it's not usually peoples top album, so i think if ur first starting out his album starboy might be best for u<3 or after hours!! his older songs r great too, but i dont listen to them nearly as much. house of balloons! 　─── dpr ian ᓚᘏᗢ 　　 　　dpr ian!!! i have 2 friends who i could go on w for a long time abt dpr ian cuz hes incredible~~ to describe his music, i would say mostly rnb w some sorta hip hop edge to it! he has a super rich voice and i absolutely lovee his vocals<3 he also creates very cool and interesting imagery in his songs, like in peanut butter and tears! and his songs convey a lot of emotion while still leaving some place for u to insert the song into your own life, if that makes sense ^__^ his songs also can be pretty fast while still having some weight to them, ya know? he also occasionally drops some korean into his songs :) hes a great artist! 　　some of my favorite songs by him r mood, peanut butter and tears, nerves, so beautiful! i think my fav album of his is mood swings in this order ;) definitely give it a listen! 　─── kid travis ❗ 　　kid travis is actually amazing!! hes an rnb/soul artist who creates some of the prettiest songs ever<3 he has a way with words and really touches your heart with his songs. i enjoy how his voice sounds like a hopeful youth and has that kinda hopeless romantic undertone to it, if that makes sense? those r the vibes i get lol ^__^ originally i didnt like him very much, but after giving him another shot i fell in love with his songs♥
