Then I realized after watching it for about the 5,000th time that there is a lot of physiological horror that is in incorporated into this video. So, at the beginning, there is flash warning btw :3 it says mesmerizer (the name of the music vid) in different languages and fonts and then a bunch of colored stars. Those 13 sided stars represent immortality. Also now all the colors are supposed to take away from the fact that things are going on in the video. They want you to think it’s all cutesy and rainbows :3 But then, Miku starts talking to Teto about how her life is so hard and insufferable almost. She’s a bit suicidal… and then Teto says that she has a solution. But also, since Miku’s hair and vibe pretty much is blue, and Teto’s is red, there is a movie called The Matrix. 2 people in a room. One person has 2 pills. 1 red, and one blue. The blue means blissful ignorance. The red means painful reality. But that doesn’t mean anything until after Miku and Teto talk. When Miku starts singing about flowers dressed up, and Miku has her hands clapped together in a pleading matter, Teto is doing Help in ASL (American Sign Language). Then in the middle it says focus. The video is trying to hypnotize you. If you slow it down, it will say mesmerizer again. Teto is supposed to be doing please as well, as in ‘Please Focus’. But she knows something else. Then they start dancing again. But Teto is blinking Morse code. 3 fast blinks, 3 slow blinks, then 3 fast blinks again. That is S.O.S. The last line in that chorus she will say ‘someone, please help ^^’ Then it’s quiz time. Notice how the first letter in every word they “spell” makes out the word Help. Then from the second word to the last, the fourth letter is S.O.S. Again. The last word, an enzyme, means to be deaf or loss of hearing. Notice also in the last word, look at Teto’s right hand. She is doing ‘Save Me’ in sign language. Here comes the crazy part :O so basically, like I said earlier, the blue pill means giving in to the ignorance of things going on in your life because your brain can’t contain it. Miku is swaying to the coin, or whatever is being used to hypnotize her, and at the end her eyes go black and white, almost in a spiral way. Her head also tilts at the end, signifying soooocide. But Teto, is not tilting, and the background is switching from day and night repeatedly, and that signifies she’s been fighting the hypnosis for a long time. Also, at the end of Miku’s turn, it says in English ‘shut down’ when her eyes turn black and white. For Teto, she doesn't say shut down and covers her mouth. For Teto the hypnotizing words become muffled, just like the enzyme for loss of hearing. She is fighting back by drowning out the hypnotism. Then the stars again. Miku is dancing, and Teto is now sweating. Just at the end of Miku’s dancing turn, she does a move she’s never done before, as if she’s now controlled like a puppet. It’s the second one when it gets faster at the end. For Teto’s turn, she is looking at Miku the whole time and the background becomes darker, now making the hypnotizing star visible. Then it says focus again. Slow this part down and watch it multiple times. Teto will look at miku at a certain point, and it says focus again. But this time, Miku starts dancing when she’s not supposed to, and at the third beat she puts her hands over her mouth, and then she changes completely, implying she’s been hypnotized. Teto just stares at her for a bit, then breaks the fourth wall (looks at the screen), and remembers she has to pretend nothing’s wrong. She started bopping to the beat again while Miku dances like a crazy person cuz she is now help— when she dances now, her face is completely different, with her tongue out, signifying sus again. Her moves are limp, like she’s being controlled by a puppet again. Her elbows are bent, maybe she also jumped off of something as sus. When it’s Teto’s turn, Miku is supposed to stop, but she keeps dancing and off beat too. And the captions are weird. The star in the middle now has a spiral, trying to hypnotize you when it said focus. Slow down the very end. Teto closes her eyes and they turn black like Miku’s did earlier. She’s been hypnotized now :O Sooo yea that was super cool
