I blinked. Then blinked again. My memories were playing, just like a movie. Except I was in that movie. But when I talked, no one could hear me. I was just there. I looked back at the younger me. I(younger Storm) continued to search the room for anything that might explain more about my parents. I didn't even know their names! I had heard about the death eater cause. Only a little though. It seemed okay, I guess. If my mom was part of it, how bad could it be? All I knew was that death eaters were the most powerful witches and wizards that sometimes did bad things, like kill muggles. I didn't like how they killed people. But I'm sure it wasn't all bad. My parents weren't bad. I believe that. Uncle Rick always said they were horrible people, but he was a horrible person. He treated me as if I was a disease or something. Same for my cousins. I mean, I did end up pranking my cousins, but they were mean first. Anyway, I wish I could've met my mom. I still hope to meet my dad. But he killed my mom, so I don't really know if he was good. Uncle Rick could've lied. There's no way my dad would do that. Right? I opened a closet. An old crumpled yellowish-white paper fell to the floor. I opened it up. It said: Dear love of my life, I hate to write this letter. You know I do. We have been through so much together. But the time has come. No reason to delay any longer. Only one of us can be on top. And neither of us will accept defeat. So, I challenge you to a duel. If you win, I will be your final. If I win, you will be mine. See you at midnight at our spot. Love, Serena I looked at the letter in confusion. Serena was my mom? Serena Burke. And she was challenging my dad to a duel? Why? It made no sense. And what does being "your final" mean? I was so confused by it. I realized how late it was, and went to bed. But I put the letter in my backpack. I slowly opened one eye, struggling to adjust to the darkness of the room. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows, revealing herself to be a lady with striking black and white hair. "Storm. It's time to go," she said in a soft yet urgent tone. Confused and disoriented, I blinked a few times before managing to ask, "Who are you?" The lady introduced herself as Narcissa Malfoy and instructed me to come downstairs within the next five minutes. As I glanced at the clock, I realized it was 2 am, but I didn't have time to question her further. I quickly got ready, gathered my belongings, pulled myself out of bed, and trudged down the huge stairway, still trying to fully wake up. Lucius was waiting at the bottom of the stairway. I followed him outside. We went back into the same black Limo. We drove in silence. In about an hour, we stopped outside Kings Cross train station. I asked Lucius, "Where are we going?" He just responded with "You will see" As I walked towards the entrance of King's Cross station, I couldn't help but feel a sense of strangeness. The newly opened station was eerily quiet, with no passengers in sight and trains yet to depart for another hour. I trailed behind Lucius, my footsteps echoing off the polished floors as we made our way inside. The spacious area was adorned with modern fixtures and sleek designs, with billowing banners hanging from the ceiling and rows of metal benches neatly arranged along the platform. The air was filled with the scent of freshly mopped floors. Lucius stopped in between stations 9 and 10. Then, he just walked through a wall. Litterally walked through a wall. I gasped in shock. I didn't know what to do. Should I attempt to walk into a wall? Or just wait. I decided to try to walk through it. I imagined myself looking stupid and hitting the wall. But, somehow I walked through it. As I came out on the other side of the wall, my eyes immediately caught sight of a magnificent train station. The structure was grand, with towering pillars and intricate carvings adorning the walls. The station's main attraction, however, was a bright red train that sat on the tracks, with the words "Hogwart's Express" emblazoned in bold letters on its side. (CONTINUED IN NOTES AND CREDITS)
My heart racing with excitement, I made my way towards the train, eager to explore every nook and cranny. As I approached the train, I noticed Lucius boarding it. I quickly ran after him, and got on the train behind me. "Find your own compartment," Lucius said cooly, and we walked in opposite directions. There was no one on the train except us, it seemed. I kept walking looking to the end of the train. I sat down in an empty compartment, and turned the lights off. A single tear ran down my cheek. No one wanted me. People kept passing me around as if I was some sort of object. And no one would explain anything to me. I curled up on the cushioned bench and looked out at the darkness outside, it was 3am. The train pulled out of the station. For some reason, the darkness outside was comforting. I know I shouldn't have any muggle items, but I had an iPod. I turned on music, put the earbuds in my ears, turned on Billie Eilish and watched out the window. A few hours later, after the sun had risen, the train stopped. We were here. Where here was, I had no clue. But I was here. I'm sorrrryy chapter 13 still isn't done it will now be 3 chapters.
