||PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SIGN-UP OR BASE ART FOR PURPOSES NOT RELATED TO GILDED SCALES ROLEPLAY!!|| ♕ -Ark one: Fool's Gold- ♕ Welcome to Gilded Scales Roleplay (also referred to as GSRP)! In a world scorched with the flames of war and scored with the talons of the dragons who fight them, the land of Niyre is home to 8 great kingdoms, forged from times where civil unrest amongst factions scrambling for power toppling one another endlessly was put to an end by the word of the god Orulos, and the 8 artifacts blessed with the innate ability to choose one dragon each who is deemed the best "fit" for the throne, and granting them unmatched power to help keep it. While one era of violence was put to an end, another had begun, one that is arguably worse than before and had left Niyre even more divided with the constant wars that have created political rifts between borders. With these all-powerful monarchs chosen by the divine will of their kingdom's artifact in a constant hungry climb against one another for more, how will you tell your tale? ||Creation Guide|| ♕ -Dragon kind- ♕ The dragons of Niyre take many shapes and forms, from scales to fur to feathers, from two wings to four to none. While the ability to use magic has long since left the dragons, they still have some in the form of artifacts and Breath Elements. While the only known Artifacts left are those who choose the divine rulers of the kingdoms and what is locked tight in the castle's personal arenol (please do not make artifacts), mostly all dragons have some sort of breath element!
