ೃ⁀➷ ch. 1 ♥some people always said my heads was full of air, I was in the clouds, et. but I certainly didn't feel that way. if happily ever after can happen in books, why can't it happen to me?♥ I made my way through the bustling streets of downtown new york city. the city buzzed with energy, each passerby a mere blur in my vision as I focused on the novel clutched tightly in my hand. //"and he got close, so dangerously close I could feel his breath on my face, but a look of concern was warped on his face."// "whatcha reading?" evangeline put her hand on my shoulder as she came past. "nothing." I shut the book as soon as she came past. she narrowly raised her eyebrow and gave me a playful shove. "whatever you say, lily." she rolled her eyes. "but you should really-" "get your head out of the clouds." I finished for her. "yes, thank you, I know." evangeline nods approvingly. "anything to do today?" "nope." "skip school today?" "you? sure." "hell yeah, let's go." evangeline smirked and skipped down the crowded roads. I roll my eyes. "I forgot that you're rich." she bumps me playfully. "I think you should be shut up. it's not everyday someone can be friends with someone as //awesome// and //amazing// as me." "self centered?" I ask, in mock-tone. evangeline gives me a grin. "perhaps." "expected." "let's go, come on!" she tugs my shoulder. "nope, i'm not skipping school again. I already have a few... missings," I finish, looking at the sky. "yeah ok I think i'll go." "fineee- cya later." evangeline gets in her fancy taxi and leaves. I'll probably regret that decision later, but I absolutely //cannot// miss another day of school. and would you look at that, I'm late again. crap. and look who's waiting for me in the hallway with that smug smirk on his face. I guess that's partially my fault.
scratch took down my character board :pensive:
