Today is our first history lesson with Madam Lovelace. I was with my friends, Irene, Alora and Elsie. "Do you hear snoring?" Elsie asked, giggling. "It's Madam Lovelace." Irene merely said. As usual, Madam Lovelace was sleeping. Enjoying her comfy chair. This wasn't really surprising. Madam Lovelace was always sleeping through history. Even Mrs Knight has seen it but didn't do anything because she was an old teacher. She needs her sleep. So we always end up watching documentaries until the class finishes. But this time it was different. Like, no principle would ever fire a lady who needs more sleep. That's right. Today, Mrs Knight fired Madam Lovelace. We heard harsh banging on the door, and in the shadows was Mrs Knight. The child closest to the door opened it to find Mrs Knight with a mad face. She marched to where Madam Lovelace was sitting or sleeping and banged her fists on the table which the poor lady woke up to. "Sleeping while teaching?" Her gritted teeth was noticeable while she shouted. "Unacceptable." I almost felt sorry for our history teacher, she was getting old. I sort of don't blame her. Madam Lovelace sputtered. "But ... But ... I've Always Done This. This Isn't The First Time. From Way Back." Mrs Knight showed a cruel smile. "You're Fired, Now Get Out. History Lessons Will Be Paused Until I Find A Better Replacement," She glared at all of us. We all gaped at her, before the teachers left the classroom with us in it. This isn't possible. This isn't the Mrs Knight I know. She not only fired her, but she fired her in front of us! That poor teacher. Mrs Knight is always good with second chances. I don't know what is happening, but we will soon find out.
