This is Cher Ami: interactive, where I present you the life of CHER AMI, the pigeon hero of World War 1. Homing pigeons, also known as carrier pigeons, had a unique skill: an ability to return to their set home nest or simply their home, no matter how far, even in the unknown, because they heard sound at a lower frequency. In WW1, Allied experts trained these pigeons to use in war and send messages. Unfortunately, since then, homing pigeons have gone extinct.
