ORIENTATIONS!!!! Gay/Homosexual/Lesbian - S*xual, romantic, platonic and/or emotional attraction to the same gender. The term lesbian is used by non-male homosexual people. Heterosexual/Straight - S*xual, romantic, platonic and/or emotional attraction to the opposite gender. Bisexual - S*xual, romantic, platonic and/or emotional attraction to 2 or more genders. Usually bisexual people have preferences Pansexual - S*xual, romantic, platonic and/or emotion attraction to anyone regardless of their assigned gender, gender identity and/or gender expression. Pansexuals do not have preferences. Omnisexual - Same definition of pansexual, except that omnisexuals have preferences Abrosexual - Constant change in s*xual, romantic, platonic and/or emotional preferences. Multisexual - S*xual, romantic, platonic and/or emotional attraction to multiple genders at once. Asexual - Lack of s*xual attraction. Asexuality is a spectrum, not all asexuals completely feel no s*xual attraction Aromantic - Lack of romantic attraction. Like asexuality, being aromantic is also a spectrum. Not all aromantics completely feel no romantic attraction Aroace - Both identifying on the asexual and aromantic spectrum GENDERS Cisgender: When one's gender identity matches the gender they were assigned as at birth Transgender: When one's gender identity doesn't match the gender they were assigned as at birth Cis male - Being born male, and identifying as male Cis female - Being born female and identifying as female Cis intersex - Being born intersex and identifying as intersex. Trans female - Being born male but identifying as female Trans male - Being born female but identifying as female Non-Binary - Identifying as not female or male. Agender - No gender identity at all. Genderfluid - Constant change in gender identity. Bigender - Identifying as 2 or more genders Pangender - Identifying as any gender. Omnigender - Identifying as any gender but preferably one or more. Multigender - Identifying as multiple genders at once Demigender - Partially identifying as one or more gender. Gender questioning - Not sure of gender identity. Xenogender - Gender identities that cannot be defined by masculinity, femininity or neutrality. Instead they are described by nouns, metaphors or references. Usually xenogenders are used by neurodivergent people. An example of a xenogender is catgender. A catgender person does not identify as a cat, but their gender identity is described to be cat-like or is associated with cats. OTHER TERMS Polyamorous - Wanting to be in a relationship with 2 or more people Ambiamorus - Doesn't mind being in a relationship with one or more people Monogamous - Wanting to be in a relationship with one person Unlabeled - When one doesn't have a label for their gender or orientation. Neopronouns - Pronouns that aren't she/her, he/him, they/them or it/its. Examples of neopronouns are xe/xem, ae/aem and zi/zir Xenopronouns - Neopronouns based off of xenogenders. Examples of xenopronouns are cat/cats, paw/paws or tree/treeself
