To celebrate the one-year anniversary of my departure from Scratch, I've decided to share the source code for The Scratch Movie 5.5 for you to enjoy! I DO NOT ENDORSE ANYTHING YOU OR ANYONE ELSE MAKES WITH THIS SOURCE CODE. KEEP IN MIND THAT I AM NOT RETURNING TO SCRATCH. This game MIGHT (and I really mean MIGHT) see a remake in the Godot Engine (without the Scratch branding, obviously), but I won't make any promises here. TSM 5.5 is probably the most complete out of all of my canceled games. You can play through 19 stages before you reach the unfinished boss stage. I'm gonna be honest here: this game was canceled because I didn't feel like making the boss lol. Yeah it was just laziness; that was very of crappy me to cancel an entire game all because I didn't wanna do it. PLEASE NOTE: - Like every other Scratch project, this game is licensed under CC-BY-SA (the sound effects ripped from Sonic and Minecraft have their own separate licenses). It doesn't have an NC license (I wish it could) due to Scratch's limitations, but please don't try to make money off of this. - This game was developed entirely in the Scratch 2.0 editor. If you plan on modifying the game, I highly recommend you ask me via YouTube or other contact methods for the .sb2 file (I can't link it here since the Scratch Team would smite me if I did). - This game would've served as a continuation of The Scratch Movie, the first series I made on Scratch (all the way back in the 2.0 era!). Looking back, it might have been for the best that it got canceled as The Scratch Movie should stay a childhood memory; it wouldn't have done the series justice if I tried to revive it through the rose-colored glasses of nostalgia. You can view all of the Scratch Movies here: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/31877255/ - I do not and will not offer instructions or tutorials on modifying this project or Scratch programming in general. @griffpatch's Classic Platformer tutorials might help--it certainly helped me when I made this. - I don't plan on releasing the source code for any of my other canceled Scratch games; they're wildly incomplete and didn't get very far lol - The details listed here are subject to change. I likely won't change it too often, but if you plan to use these files, consider checking this every now and then. ONCE AGAIN, I DO NOT ENDORSE WHATEVER IS MADE WITH THIS SOURCE CODE. If you run into any bugs or issues (besides the fact that the game ends at the missing boss fight), contact me via YouTube or other contact methods (I don't check Scratch often). Enjoy the source code! :)
