Nasuki's Sacrifice - By Piper147 This short story/journal entry was inspired by the song Daughter of the Moon by Adriana Figeuroa. This was written for an English assignment but I could not use it due to the fact that it is fantasy. :( Nasuki is a name taken from Natsuki, a Japenese name, meaning moon and vegetables and greens. Alternatively it can mean summer and hope but I used it for its 'moon' meaning since Nasuki is the Daughter of the Moon. Manami is also Japenese, meaning love, affection and beautiful or sea. I used it for its 'sea' meaning since Manami is the Daughter of the Sea.
