This project took forever, but it's finally done! With over 1000 blocks of code, this is by far my most detailed project, so make sure to like or favourite the game if you enjoyed playing! This was a project for my middle school Spanish Culture final, in which we had to create a game showing the culture for a Spanish-speaking country. I personally enjoyed this project quite a bit, so I hope you guys like it as well! WASD or Arrow Keys to move, only Luella is interactable at the start of the game since you haven't completed the tutorial yet. This is not a glitch. Make sure to interact with all the characters more than once, as although they may have the same greeting, they have a lot more information afterwards!
Thanks to my group members, Ezzy, Izzy, and Charlie. Ezzy created the pixelated art for the interactable characters and background, while Izzy drew the beautiful characters you see in the dialogue menus. Charlie wrote about two lines of the script for the dialogue before giving up and saying they were done. (Classic group projects, am I right?) All other in-game and behind-the-scenes coding is by me (most of the scripting, creating the dialogue and interactive buttons, and all of the coding, etc.). The game style and interactions in the game was inspired by The Coffin of Andy and LeyLey (but not any of the game story, don't come at me in the comments. Love the game, just not exactly what we're looking for in a school project. ;3), so thank you to Nemlei and Kit9 Studio!
