Canadians pay taxes, which goes to the government, which goes into things such as free elementary school, free healthcare and pay for emergency service staff. However, college, university, and post-secondary schools are not free. Every country in the world should have education, period. If a country doesn't educate their children about anything, why should they even try to accomplish something in life? No education = No job = No money = No food = Starvation = Begging on the streets. You could help by donating money to school and education-related charities. These give money to poor schools around the world. You could also support financial aid, which gives money and supplies to children who cannot afford them. Another way is to give money or supplies directly.
