For May 2024, the Alliance chose 26 Equal Divisions of the Octave. At first, I was a bit unsure about using 26-EDO. But once I figured out the scale I was using, the wonky harmonies kind of grew on me. I ultimately decided to go with a "four seasons" series, and "Spring" is the first of those songs. Originally, I wanted to use a sort of classical style, but it eventually turned into some kind of lo-fi thing? I don't really know what genre to call this, but I really like how it turned out. _____TECHNICAL INFORMATION_____ https://scaleworkshop.plainsound.org/?n=Chlorimic&l=5Bq_9Bq_aBq_bBq_dBq_iBq_nBq_qBq&c=blue~-green-green-green&version=2.5.1 Step Pattern: 5-4-1-1-2-5-5-3 JI Scale*: 5\26 ≈ 8/7 9\26 ≈ 9/7 10\26 ≈ 64/49 11\26 ≈ 4/3 13\26 ≈ 7/5 18\26 ≈ 8/5 23\26 ≈ 24/13 26\26 = 2/1 *Assuming 2.3.5.7.13 subgroup; other interpretations are possible.
