You stand on a stage, facing the audience. The microphone in front of you suddenly feels like the largest thing in the room, the cheers of the crowd chanting your name fading into the background as you open your mouth… Welcome to Scratch Singing Camp’s Singing Competition! Our wonderful judges for this session will be @Strawberry-Lemon , @BlauHourglass , and @Speaknow__12 ~ We must begin by saying that there is no song that is required to be sung, and there is no genre requirement. Pop, musical theater, country, classical… go wild! You do /not/ have to sing the same genre as your cabin, feel free to sing whatever speaks to you! Of course there are a few rules we will get into later in the description, so make sure you read all the way to the end before entering. ~ You may enter one piece in the singing category, and one piece in the songwriting category. Because not everybody is comfortable sharing their voice, the points of the songwriting and singing contests will be weighted equally. 1st— 25,000 points 2nd— 20,000 points 3rd— 15,000 points Honorable Mentions — 5,000 points each ~ You must be a part of Scratch Singing Camp May 2024 to join!
