[EXTREMELY OUTDATED] [[THAT MEANS GET OUTTA HERE]] [[[MY ART STYLE HAS CHANGED DRASTICALLY AND THIS IS TRASH COMPARED TO IT]]] [[[[and it was for a dta that has ended now so there’s no point in it anymore]]]] [[[[[might unshare soon]]]]] Well hello there… this is my entry, no matter the fact I started when there were 3 days left to enter :) The digital art is pixely aaaaargh and I don’t have anywhere else to put it double aaaaargh So I did the platformer dude because I thought he would be fun to draw, not because I liked the character, and by the time I got done I was pretty attached to him, oops So Here’s the character info Name: Nexus (Nex) Levvle (at least, it's what he prefers to be called) Age: Doesn't have a specified age, who knows how long he's been in progress (see backstory) Pronouns: he/him Personality: he’s a total introvert and gets anxious interacting with people. He can sometimes get prickly and defensive if he’s angry, but it’s hard to get him to lose his temper. He gets surprisingly competitive on video games though. He’s still kind of figuring himself out, he only just got to this universe. (See backstory) (Note: I'm just now realizing all the other entries have very different personalities and this guy is kind of an... outlier) Backstory: I basically wrote a book for this :D it's sooooo long and I put it in another project's desc: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1022416996/ And now some random facts about him -He would be good at Fortnite but refuses to play it because there's too many people competing at once and it makes him nervous -If you touch one of his spikes you respawn (don't ask how that works) -He cannot feel heat or coldness, as he is literally formed out of the environment of his own mini-universe (again, see backstory) -Only listens to video game soundtracks -He has 50+ sweatshirts somehow, the one he’s wearing in drawing 5 is his favorite because, and I quote (not really), “It has the perfect ratio of lava, land, and spikes!” So it’s really worn. -When he’s really angry or excited, he spouts gibberish similar to what would appear on a computer if one were to slam their head against the keyboard. Doing worst to best drawings 1: full body sketch I did in 5 minutes because my friend wanted to see his shoes 2: what I found myself doodling at recess (I tried to draw a thumbs up but I always have trouble with fingers for some reason. You can see the erase lines from that lol) 3: he’s getting mildly frustrated at a hard level 4: somebody called platformers “generic and not worth playing” and this is his reaction oh also different sweatshirt design 5: my best drawing of him :D it took 3 hours and the entire Minecraft Dungeons soundtrack to make it Digital art drawn in Procreate, pencil art drawn using a 0.7 tip mechanical pencil <<Update (5/21/24)>> Seeing some of the other entries, man am I so cooked There’s nothing down here haha
