[The Woodcarver's Curse: New Generation] 44 I was finally the right age for secondary school (lots of age gaps, sorry). Nathan had started primary school and Mother didn't have time to pick me up from school so I has to walk back home everyday by myself. One day, I was walking home from school when I got a vision (like before when I looked into the past). The vision showed me holding an umbrella on a rainy day. "This couldn't be true," I said. A few minutes later, it *did* begin to rain. I didn't have an umbrella, like in the vision, so I was soaked. Then, my childhood friend showed -- Kawa the ghost otter. "Hi, Adrienne! Long time no see. Here's an umbrella!" Kawa handed me a black umbrella and vanished before I could thank him. I used the umbrella and ran home. On the way, I tripped and fell. Blood began streaming down my knee. A girl with cat ears appeared and "lended me a hand", she seems too familiar...
