Do you know the difference between vectors and scalars? It is their definition and usage! Scalars are used to describe the magnitude and size of an object while a vector is both of those plus direction. If I threw a ball 5 meters and said I threw it 5 meters then that's Scalars while if the ball rotated 273% of 360 degrees and I mentioned that the ball did move five meters but also rotated 273% of 360 degrees then that's vectors.
