This project graphs the loudness of the environment, which is detected by your computer's microphone. The UNIX timestamp is shown on the top-left hand corner, and the duration of the graphing process will be displayed on the top-right hand corner when the graph is completely drawn. Press space or click on the screen to create a new graph. Press W to edit the 'wait interval' - the difference of times between two points in the graph. When the wait interval is changed, reset the graph so it does not produce inaccurate results. #art #trending #all
I came up with this idea during class time when my peers were being distracting instead of completing their classwork. One of my teachers used a tool called 'Bouncy Balls', available at https://bouncyballs.org, which manages classroom noise. The graphing idea is original by me.
