After the end of the First World War, some thought peace would remain. They were wrong. The USSR continuously expanded into the Balkans, setting up satellite states, while the Germans converted to a new "Germanist Accelerationism" after Gunther von Kluge couped the Weimar Republic in 1934. Peace may be here, but it is not to stay.
