[The Woodcarver's Curse: Nightmare Zone] 53 I glared sadly out of the train window, holding a box of my most precious possessions: two gems. My mother (who was called Adrienne) gave them to me. She said that the green one was collected by Grandmother Alice. She k!lIed an evil man in black and got the gem in return. Mother got the blue gem by k!lIing the princess of foxes, Luna Wish. I wanted to collect my own gem. But how? I needed to do something special, like Mother and Grandmother. I totally adore them! "Violet Miracle?" I heard a voice call my name. I turned around and saw a lady. "You're going to live with the Morgans. But you'll keep your last name." Mother sent me away because of war. Father was a soldier there and was k!lIed by a gun in the head. I miss them both terribly. When I got to my 'new family', I found out I had a big brother. My new mother was pregnant with my baby brother. Luckily, I had my own room so I could be by myself for a while. I didn't like this new home. I wanted to go back. I made sure my gems were safe in my wardrobe before calling it a day and cried myself to sleep.
