I'm friendly enough if you have any questions :D ⊹ RP EXPERIENCE: Hireathkit would replace current kittypet character Missy, so first character slot. Before her, I have had Spiritfalcon (Shadowclan, actually a grunkle to these guys I think) and Twigtaunt (Thunderclan) Longevity is an interesting question with me, but I'm applying for fun to begin with in order to feel out my attachment to the boy. I would become a very slow responder over the summer because I'm working at my favorite place in the world (!!) but I do plan to be as active as possible on weekends, and to test out if the wifi up there will load scratch lmao. All in all, I know I can be very active when I am excited about a character, so I am planning on building up his character and then deciding if I would be able to give him his best life :] ⊹ ABOUT THE KIT: -Personality- (+) Diligent (+) Perseverant (+) Reflective (+) Curious (+) Kind (=) Thoughtful (=) Stoic/soft-spoken (-) Self-Conscious (-) Unfocused (-) Detached (-) Overthinking (-) Conflict-adverse Hireathkit is hard to read. There is very little you would be able to understand about him from first glance, beyond the watchful emerald eyes and near lack of any voice at all. He reveals himself in bits and pieces as you come to know him. Most obvious is his diligent and perseverant nature. His mother's high expectations have rubbed off on him, and he feels his responsibility to his clan and family very strongly. When something needs to be done, every step he takes is a step towards its finishing, up until he has succeded. You would struggle to notice how reflective he can be, though, despite its strong link to these traits. Hire has a personal interest in growth and becoming the best he can be. He'll often pick apart his actions and their results in order to test what he can do next time to improve. This can often spiral to a point where he is mulling over his mistakes so much that he delays making choices, and will just stagnate and marinate in the thoughts. In an interesting twist of fate, the kitten who so desperately wants to be good and hardworking has the attention span of a goldfish. He finds himself tugging his attention back on track almost constantly. Unfortunately, everything and anything interests him, and he can't help but let his mind wander. He is particularly interested in history, and what has made a place or a person what it is. He is quite sweet, also. When you get to know and communicate with him in his own quiet way. He hates conflict and will try anything but arguing or fighting to make his way through a tight spot socially. He cares pretty deeply for the people he is close to, and his kindness shines through with a steadfast ear to listen, or a bit of prey to brighten a dark day. You might not notice that kindness, as often he works parallel to the group, not with it. This detachment can often have him socially isolated or unaware of current politics. He has a strong desire to just be a steady workhorse in the background and is quite happy to avoid these things. When he can, he likes to be outwardly seen as perfect and stoic. Internally he is a hot mess, and full of love and wonder for the world and his friends.
-Identity- Hireath would be aro ace, and would stick to his birth gender, using primarily he/him. I don't think he would mind other pronouns being used though, generally ambivalent. - Scent and sound - For a blind caretaker, Hireath is almost silent. He would take care to do the basic courtesy of introducing himself when he walks into a room, but speaks rarely and in short soft words. This alone makes his speech distinct, but his voice is soft and on the deeper side, though not too deep. Most often he speaks matter-of-factly in a handful of words, like anything he says is a confident statement, though said quietly. He smells of damp dirt, and generally a warm earthy smell with a sharp rusty tinge to it when you're up close. -Relationships- With Amitymuse, I think he would look up to her quite a bit. He had always been a bit of a quietly responsible kit, and now being adopted and saved by someone who encourages it, he is dedicated. He might call her 'Miss' or 'Ma'am' until she tells him off for it (if she does) and would care a lot about becoming a cat she can be proud of. He feels he owes her a debt, in a way. As for his siblings, despite being the middle child, he considers himself a guardian and supporter. He is silently in the background of whatever they are getting up to, and is always available for them to rant at. They can often be one of the few exceptions to his quiet nature, and he will speak up if he has to advocate for his family. He would probably prefer one of his sisters did the talking, though. -Trivia- He is mildly interested in the concept of death and what comes after- he's heard a few stories about what exactly happens and they haven't been the same. He learns what he can, and finds the remnants of what was interesting. This can be nicknacks left over from life or simply enough, bones. Not cat bones probably, because I think that's a bit much for silly cat roleplay. He is vaguely ashamed of the above interest and doesn't show it off much. I would like to reuse an idea from my last application because I love it so much, I would like him to plant a tree as a kit and watch it grow over his lifetime. I kind of want him to explore the territory and discover remnants from old cat's lives. That would consist of me putting out a project for people to note anything physical their cat (dead or alive, but preferably dead) left behind in the world. So a hideaway in the territory, claw marks on a stone, a well-worn path etc. He LOVES lists. Lists of things to do, lists of steps to take, that kind of thing. He was based mostly on his pelt and how it looks like muddy water. So muddy water symbolism as in you cannot see the depths. That and earthiness and steadfast nature. I correlate them in my head, at least! roleplay examples in the comments! ⊹ EXTRA: In a calamity, I think my boy would be the least proactive he's ever been in his life. He'd freeze up like a stone.
