(To clarify, the title is satire - I'm alluding to the stereotype that all metalheads are satanists) Ok so for context, I had to do a school project relating to rust and its impact on metal. I decorated the background with some bands I liked (namely Testament, System of a Down, and Slipknot) as a joke, since they're metal bands. There was still some space in the backdrop, though, so I tried to think of other metal bands to add. I remembered from somewhere that Megadeth's album "Rust in Peace" was (debatably) the greatest metal album of all time, so I added it along with a few other of their albums ("Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?" and "Dystopia"). I kind of left it at that for a couple days, but when I showed the project to one of my friends he got really excited at Megadeth's presence, so as to not sound like an idiot I acted like I listened to them too (I lied). When I got home, I was like "okay, sure, if he listens to them I'll give them a shot." And OH MY GOD THEY'RE GREAT. LIKE MY MOUTH WAS GAPING OPEN WHEN I HEARD THEM. My first song I heard by them was Tornado of Souls (from Rust in Peace), and I was immediately hooked. I listened to the rest of Rust in Peace, and their music was like a drug. I can't get enough of these guys. Dave Mustaine may have started Megadeth as a way to get back at Metallica, but in that process he made music that I absolutely love. --- Background music is Tornado of Souls, from Megadeth's "Rust in Peace" album. Also, if you'd like to see the project in question that I talked about, you can by pressing and holding space.
