~Celeste~ Celeste glanced at Marcus, his emerald green eyes meeting her blue eyes. “You got the plan down?” He whispered. “Yeah, I know what to do.” She responded. They looked outward from the dark alley they were crammed in. Marcus strolled out casually, towards the fruit vendor’s stall. “How can I help ya’?” the vendor asked. “Well lets see, I need some of those, and oh how about those. And that would be good, too…” Marcus chatted, pointing to different fruits. “Ok…that would be fourteen gold nobles.” The vendor said. “But wait, I don’t need those and those ones look rotten.” Marcus said. Marcus continued to point and talk, while the vendor was trying to focus on how much money he would get. Celeste walked out, staying in the shadows, not wanting to get caught. She snuck close to the fruit stall. “Well uh, that would be-what’s the cost of those?” Marcus asked. She could tell he was running out of ideas. She frowned, but opened her old bag and quickly grabbed as much fruit as she could. She closed the bag. She strolled away, heading down the cobblestone road. “You know, I just won’t take any.” Marcus said quickly to the vendor, then turned away. The vendor cursed, frustrated. Marcus caught up to Celeste a few moments later. He flashed a smile at her, and she smiled back. “We did it.” She said, opening the bag to look at the colorful fruits.
