Context (Buckle up this is a long one): Venomous is an alternate version of Modern Eggman in the Pre-Super Genesis Wave Archie Timeline who became cannibalistic after Snively cooked up a Mobian found cold blooded in Robotropolis. After this, Eggman required more of this taste, capturing and eating every spare Mobian/animal they could find. As he kept going however, Eggman slowly changed from a calm and calculated evil mastermind, to an insane cannibal with a small hint of his 300 IQ. Eventually, Snively got fed up with this crazed Eggman and tried to defeat him, but with the help of an upgraded Metal Sonic, Eggman chowed on Snively, and left his remains within a capsule. Eventually, Issue 175-176 happens, with slight, but small differences. The Egg Grapes are instead used to suck the lives out of all the mobians, (save for the Freedom Fighters, as Eggman, who now goes by Venomous, wants to save them for last) in order to feast on what's left over. Sonic, Tails, & Amy arrive to rescue the captured mobians, but Sonic goes ahead, much to the other two's dismay. Prey (the song) ensues, and Tails & Amy retreat. Years pass since Sonic's defeat, and only Tails, Nicole, Silver, & Elias are still around. But Tails is tired of hiding, so he's gonna deal with Venomous himself. But Venomous is expecting him.
