why so sawious? - the jigger So I've been getting into the Saw franchise as of late and my first instinct was to do a furry AU (for some reason). Now I can't stop drawing the characters as furries. It's ruining my life. Have some art. 1. Amanda Young! She's a maned wolf. I'm actually not too familiar with drawing canines, so she would be a major test. This was also my attempt to get the actor's faces to carry over into these designs, so I decided to hone in on the cheekbones, eye shape, and noses. I also made the decision to give these fellows hair, because if Mandy doesn't have her silly lesbian haircuts then what's the point. 2. First test for Adam! He's a domestic shorthair cat without much specificity to breed. This design will be tweaked later, but the mask around the eyes will stay. He's a cat due to a deleted scene of him feeding some strays, the emphasis on the eyes tapetum lucidum would grant him, and as a joke about Schrodinger's Cat. 3. Lawrence is a domestic rabbit of unspecified breed. It's a rabbit's foot joke. Here are some doodles of him talking to a therapist pre-canon. 4-6. Aforementioned Schrodinger's Cat joke. His face got squarer. :3 7. The winning haircut of a poll I ran! Mullet came in first place so this is Adam having cut it. You may notice Mandy's a little off-model. Don't worry about it :thumbsup: 8. David from Saw 0.5 is a green lacewing! I wanted something that would "blend in with the walls," so the immediate decision was some semi-transparent bug. The human man is me jotting down Leigh's features to figure out how to put them on a bug. 9. More bugs, here with Hercules beetle Hoffman. You can see me struggling how mandibles work with the RBT. Some talon-hands, too, for Lynn (a jackdaw) and other birds. 10. More of Mandy! The harsh colors are inspired by Fauvism. 11. ya 12. Amanda Young experiences an unspecified emotion. 13. Dogtor Gordon... Dogtor Gordog, if you will. Veterinary prosthetics actually aren't that common because a good amount of domestic animals can get by with only three legs. Hooved animals can struggle, though, and obviously more lost paws make things harder. This is all irrelevant, though, because he is bipedal. There's a joke to be made here about how doctor is an acquired title. Lawrence isn't a dog in my AU but this was fun. 14. More of David the lacewing. Text says, "I think I might be a girl." 15.
