Posting this stuff on this acc bc some people can't access toyhouse :> Symptoms: --Having the urge to act like a cat, developing cat instincts, etc --Involuntarily replacing words with cat sounds when speaking (like "mew" instead of "you", "meow" instead of "now", etc) (this can be suppressed but it's difficult) --Itchy head, hands, feet, and base of the spine --Faster than average nail and hair growth --Nails and teeth becoming sharper --Heightened senses of hearing and smell and better night vision --More difficult to ingest certain foods (foods that cats wouldn't be able to eat) in large amounts --Gaining the ability to safely consume raw meat --Craving meat, especially chicken and fish --Developing bristles on the tongue --Developing the ability to purr Disease origin: Zubin got bitten by a cat that was an escaped experiment and carried the virus The disease is very contagious, and can be contracted by being bitten or scratched by someone infected, or just being in the same room as them for long enough. Anyone infected will start to develop the symptoms listed above, and within a week or so they'll start to grow cat ears and a tail (they retain their normal ears as well). Eventually their hands and feet may also become cat paws. (The hand-paws retain opposable thumbs, though thicker fingers makes it harder to perform tasks requiring dexterity; their legs will also become digitigrade) They might also grow fur on their limbs and back. There are three known stages of infection: --Stage 1: Shows two or more of the symptoms listed above but hasn't begun transformation --Stage 2: Has grown cat ears and a tail --Stage 3: Hands and feet have become paws, fur might also begin to grow on their back and limbs There is no known cure.
