"Alright, I'll get the stuff," she said, quickly, in a monotone voice. She was rather eager to get away. She gathered all of her ingredients and came back. "Merlin's Beard, it smells like Vanilla," Tom said, as he jerked his face away from the potion. "Maybe cause I'm wearing a vanilla perfume?" Adrianna said, rudely, as she chopped up an ashwinder egg. Tom scoffed. "Then tone it down a little," he said, annoyed. Adrianna rolled her eyes. "It's not my fault I don't want to smell bad," she muttered, as she sprinkled some pearl dust in. In a few minutes, the potion was done, and had also received approval from Slughorn. "Excellent!" he beamed. "Well, go on, smell it," he said, beckoning towards Adrianna. She flustered and then took a sniff. "It smells like....cologne, like a musky one, c!ggare3tt3s- oh dear" she said, lifting her face up for a moment. "And fresh rain," she finished, her cheeks flushed pink. "Very well," Slughorn said, happily. "Tom, m'boy, what about you?" he said, looking over at Tom. "Me? Oh well," he said, as he took a breath in. "Black coffee beans," he started, frowning. "Coconut shampoo, and vanilla perfume," he finished, hesitantly. Cosette looked at Adrianna, with wide eyes. "You use a coconut shampoo and a vanilla perfume," she mouthed across the classroom, almost accusingly. Adrianna nodded, not sure if she was thrilled or terrified. Slughorn nodded and walked around the classroom, helping student. "Vanilla perfume," Adrianna repeated, accidentally out loud. She widened her eyes in shock. Tom ran a hand through his hair.
