If you can't read the low quality: -Take a photo of different areas of your room (e.g. your desk, cabinets, drawers, bed, a specific section of floor) -Categorize the sections with letters and box off time to work on each -Individually deal with each section by: --Taking every item off the surface into a laundry basket or another room or hallway --Sort things into categories (in some other, cleaner space) depending on what the genre of clutter is ---Desk categories: old paperwork (worksheets and other), knick-knacks, books, etc and then within the categories, sort them by frequency of use and if they belong on the desk ---Floor categories: clothes, paperwork, books, school stuff, etc and within those categories sort by how much you need them and if they belong on the floor ---Other things: sort by frequency of use --Place the things deemed most useful back where they came from but with allotted space, for example, a stack of books back on the bookshelf, useful paperwork in a drawer for that, knick-knacks in cute locations that don’t impair your functionality, clothes in the hamper, etc --For the things you don’t use or will never use again put things you want to keep because of sentimental value in cabinets, drawers etc and have someone else help you decide what to toss away -After finishing a section take a five-ten minute break to eat something small or listen to music -Repeat!
