It's been a very long time, hasn't it? Yo, what's good guys, after a very long time I decided to actually check scratch and post a project on why I suddenly left from the community of scratch. I checked scratch once in like 3 months and saw most of your comments on my profile. It's been a long time, a really long time. I just thought I'd create a project real quickly explaining my random dissapearance from scratch. I know I should've made one sooner, and better quality but this is it for now. To be honest, I don't recall why I randomly left scratch, but I will inform you with the reasons I remember as well as my short journey on scratch. So my journey on scratch started in 2022, my entrance into middle school, with no idea what I was gonna do. Some of my classmates were playing scratch games at lunch, I decided to join them too. They were playing an online game, 'robot constructor' I believe, and I needed an account and to be a scratcher to play with 'em. It started of with a random account with a random name just to play games. Some of you may know my old account... But later on, once I found what extraordinary things you can do on scratch, I started making projects and gained a wide audience. I really enjoyed making projects back then when I was in year 7. At the end of the year (December) I told you guys I was going on a vaccation and wouldn't be back till February. I did come back in February but didn't really feel like doing scratch anymore, so I quit. After a few months, I decided to come back. That's when I realized I wasn't recognized much on scratch. This really de-motivated me and I start losing interest in scratch. Around May month in 2023, I really didn't feel like doing scratch anymore, and felt too old for scratch, espcially since the work load was increasing since I was in year 8. Making projects had now felt like a chore and forced rather than for my own enjoyment. I still created content till about September ending on an animation called 'Movies', which was a true story that had happened to me. After that I wasn't too active on scratch. Yes, I would check on scratch once in a while, and frequently update my most popular games. I would also reply to some of your comments, if you were lucky. However, scratch just wasn't fun anymore. What started as an enjoyment ended up as a chore. I also felt like I needed to focus more on school and plan for the future, rather than wasting time on this website. I got to admit, I was a bit fame hungry during my beginnings on scratch and may have committed some major mistakes on my old account but it has ended. My time on scratch has ended. Scratch has also now become a place full of grief & destruction, it just hasn't been the same as before. It has been a memorable journey, from my friends in school playing my scratch games to gaining more followers and views on my account. I know it was't correct to just leave scratch without telling you guys, and after a while, I realised. I had totally forgot about scratch, caught up in the beautiful nature of life and the real world. I randomly decided to check on Scratch today, and finally decided to make a project regarding my random disappearance on scratch. Thank you for this wonderful journey. I felt like making a final animation to say my final goodbyes, however I didn't feel like it and I don't have much time as my exams are next week. Also when even putting the text in for this project ("Read Description") I had kind of forgot how to operate the scratch project making system. I will see if I can make one final project before fully leaving. The chances of me coming back to scratch are very low, however still possible. Ask any questions in the comments. I will try my best to respond as many as possible. I will go back to my usual un-activeness on scratch as well, so don't expect much from me. Chances are, this project won't be distinguished and recognised from too many people, this project will most likely hit 10-100 views. I don't expect much from this, as I really don't care about scratch anymore but this is just to inform those of you who were sad because of my dissapearance on scratch. Only those who have supported me since the beginning or are great fans/friends of mine are the ones to be seeing and reading this right now. I hope you understand :) "Keep striving for excellence. chase your dreams & never ever give up" - -Myth
