This was supposed to be mainly the art piece with the second pre-chorus as the lyrics as the(pretty long and somewhat uninteresting) intro. Really messed up on the wonky tinyyyyy hand right there and "crown" but I really did like how the clothes came out. Scratch also kept eating the sound file so I had to find the song and re-record and clip it again which...took a while ◇~◇ Literal backstory: Some of my friends and I were working on a DnD campaign so I made a character, Chromis for it. She's a water genasi and supposed to be a good paladin currently, but the big part of her backstory is that she was a dark sorceress before that and that fit with the song ◇~◇ --A *very small* glossary with some of the DnD creatures mentioned in the lore backstory so you can understand atleast half of it-- - - - Genasi- Humanoid-genie hybrids with elemental powers that look very much like humans, but have unsual skin tones depending on what type of genasi they are(Chromis is a water genasi which is why she's blue da ba dee) and also additional traits gotten from their mortal parents(they don't have to be neccesarily human) Aboleth- Basically a giant slimy lamprey-looking eel/fish with about four additional tentacles. They have psychic powers and have a mucus that turns creatures into their slaves. Known as the nightmares of the sea for a pretty good reason Illithid (a.k.a mindflayers)- Imagine Megamind but purpler, slightly smaller forehead, claws for hands, and tentacles for a mouth. Yep. They also have very similar powers to the aboleths above Human- A thing so strange I can't begin to describe here. I think it's best if you just search it up, though there might not even be results of how strange and elusive these creatures are - - - NOW onto the lore backstory ◇~◇ Awoken by the sound of crashing waves and shrill chirps, Chromis suddenly came into conciousness. Unknowing of what had previously happenened in her life since that awakening point, she was stranded in the ocean until coming upon a certain brood of aboleths. They would have quickly dealt away with her had they ot been impressed by her psionic prowess and abilities quite similar to theirs and thought this might represent a connection to them. However, it turned out much later that this wasn't because of a relation with the aboleths, but rather because she was a descendant of a failed and corrupted illithid, one of the very few things that aboleths were wary about. Upon realizing this, Chromis studied even further into the dark arcane magics to become a sorceress and turn the illithid magic inside her against them to protect the aboleths at any cost, even if the illithids were posing no immediate threat to them. After taking care of the illithids, she turned on the human race, the ones that should have taken in from the start but instead abandoned her. It's their fault, she thought. A nation is judged based on how it treats their weakest and worst-off, and they did a magnificent job demonstrating how they did just that. Besides, her ulterior motives were far greater beyond just defending her caretakers... ◇~◇ Song is It's Got My Name on It by Tommee Profitt Zoom in Code by Bars and bubbles inspired by Art by ◇~◇ ....I found out that they're going to use pre-made characters for the campaign. Chromis has absolutely no reason to exist anymore besides this project now.
