I made this to allow you time to cleanse and forge. Killing all enemies as fast as you can will reward you with extra time to gain more core strength. Log: 5/27/24-5/30/24: Made base game (Sword, character, ghoul, abilities, start screen, etc.) 5/31/24: Added functional enemy, ghoul and added interactions with abilities, added core. 6/1/24: added new enemy: Stinger, Adjusted ghouls and stingers speed, added cleansing/forging, added enemy attack animations, added "unlimited" mode. Added fire character, Added fireball ability, added flame wave ability, added interactions with fire character. (I did a lot that day :P) 6/2/24" Added more waves, fixed a lot of bugs. ALOT. Added fire graphics to burning enemies. Added sword sounds and menu sounds. 6/3/24: Added new enemy, Juggernaut. Re-worked the entire sprite because it had to have more health that stingers and ghouls. Fixed many bugs associated with the flame wave and fireball ability. 6/4/24: Added Juggernaut to waves. Balanced core usage on abilities. (I realized flame wave was too overpowered so I made it do less damage) Made all abilities cost 5 more strength. Added 4 more waves for a total of 10. Wave ten will have some sort of boss or just a lot of enemies. 6/5/24: Changed pre-game setup (Made choose mode first then choose type) Heavily nerfed flame wave and lunar shock. 6/6/24: Added new magic type, Mystic. Added Kickback and Arcane Blast abilities. Coded interactions with Mystic abilities. Fixed cooldown bug. Nerfed fire character (Again) 6/7/24: Added Paragon mode in modifiers. Finished up Mystic character (Now available), Nerfed Lunar shock, and flame wave. Buffed Arcane Blast. Added enemy info (Choose mode screen) and story info (Start screen). 6/8/24: Created new enemy: Flayer. Added 4 more waves for a total of 15. Added Cleansing and Forging (Press and hold space) 6/9/24: Worked on the Hive Mind in waves. Worked on difficulties in waves. (Will be finished tomorrow most likely) 6/10/24: Finished Hive Mind for Easy and Medium. (Hard will be finished later) Buffed Lunar shock. Made dying (I didn't make this earlier because this project was still a WIP.) 6/11/24: Added win screen for Scourge Caves. Added scoring in Unlimited Mode. (For all enemies now, finally..) Made back button and updated enemy info/ forging info. Fixed bug where you could start the game while on a second menu. 6/12/24: No Updates 6/13/24: Made Wyrm Cloaks in Fight menu. (Not yet functional might be done by tomorrow) 6/14/24: Worked on Wyrm Cloaks more. (Almost done, just need to code interactions with abilities) 6/22/24: Back from 4 day vacation, will continue working on wyrm cloaks today. And in the beginning I just made it say the magic type and not the actual character. Yes, rake being able to use arcane blast in the air was not a mistake, I made it that way. And yes, his polearm is supposed to face down while he is in the air. And yes, I know Lunar shock is not supposed to be a beam like that but I made it like that anyways because it would be too weak. And yes, you should love and favorite this project.
