The Oscar Show is a spinoff to The New Adventures of Nanoboy. Main Characters: Oscar Stein - He's one of the main characters from this show and the member of the Nanosquad. He's voiced by Joe Murray. Ozzie Stein - Prof. David Stein's niece. Voiced by Christina Sergeant. Prof. David Stein - He's a professor who is researching everything and also, he's an inventor. He is Oscar's father. He's voiced by Joe Murray. Dora - She's Oscar's mother. Voiced by Su-Ping Chio. Timothy "Tim(my)" Smith - He's Oscar's best friend. He can depend on Oscar in an easygoing way. Voiced by Su-Ping Chio. Vicky - She's Oscar's rival and a bossy girl in school. She can prove that she is way better than him. Voiced by Su-Ping Chio. Lydia Toilette - She's Oscar's girlfriend and a foreign exchange student from France. She also studies microscopic organisms using a microscope and planets using a telescope. Voiced by Hillary Blazer-Doyle who speaks in a French language and adds English subtitles. Recurring Characters: Chuck - He's Oscar's cousin who likes to mess things up. Appeared in one episode, "Magnetic Microbe Menace". Maria Stein - She's Oscar's baby sister. Voiced by Su-Ping Chio. Oli - She first appeared in Oli's Wild Adventures and was an animal expert, veterinarian and zoologist in "Oscar's Wild Adventures" and became a background character throughout the show. Voiced by Su-Ping Chio. Paul - A bumbling, yet nitwitted young boy in Oscar's school. He's voiced by Joe Murray. Issac Neuron - He's a nerd and scientist in Oscar's school. He's one of the members of the Nanosquad. Alexis DeLila - Crocker "Croc" Stein - An australian crocodile hunter and farmer cousin of the Steins. Britney Hepburn - Marfield - A parody of Garfield. He appears in a comic book Oscar was reading. Lowly - A parody of Odie. He appears in a comic book Oscar was reading. Angela - A brunette and one of Oscar's friends from school. She appears in a Nanoboy episode, "Worms". Inspector Stein - Brain - Ozzie's pet cat who likes to cause trouble at the Stein household. She's similar to the M.A.D. cat. Background Characters: They used the same ones in Nanoboy. Babies - They appear in some episodes. Babysitter - She appears in "Babysitting Blues". Cheerleaders - They appear in some episodes which the scenes focused on sports. Segments: The Oscar Show - This is a segment featuring Oscar and his friends in comedic situations. Oscar - Prof. David made a growing ray to turn Oscar into a 50 ft. giant. Planet Oscar - Oscar and Lydia were partners for his school's project, they took the rocket to a strange planet. We Amour As Lovers - A Valentine's Day episode where Oscar has a crush on Lydia. Babysitting Blues - Tim In The Big City - Timmy to Stardom - Pack Your Bags! - Sky Scrape From New York - See Ya Later, Time Travelling Alligators! - A time travelling episode loosely based on the scrapped short film, Time Flies. Notes: Oscar remains his old self from early episodes of Nanoboy throughout The Oscar Show. Maria's crying sound effect was Baby Kate Read's crying from another show made by Cookie Jar since it's the distributor, Arthur but high pitched and sometimes normal pitched for the 2nd half heard in one episode, "Babysitting Blues". Oscar's reused stock screams, grunts, moans and voice clips from Nanoboy and the show. The show is rated TV-Y7 on Toonzai and released by Mill Creek Entertainment on DVD. This show is similar to The Pink Panther (1993) and SpongeBob SquarePants. Ozzie's catchphrase after Oscar defeated Ozzie is "Next Time, Oscar! Next Time!" similar to Inspector Gadget used for Dr. Claw. Crying Clips: Oscar Stein - He cried in some episodes. In one episode, "Attack of the 50 ft. Oscar": Oscar as a giant cried after he got jeered at and protested by the crowd and Tim in a canoe tells him to calm down. Ozzie Stein - Timothy "Tim(my)" Smith - Lydia Toilette - Maria - Issac Neuron - Music composed by Michael Taverno (who did music on Jakers, Mucha Lucha and Planet Sheen, since the Planet Sheen theme song appears in three episodes of The Oscar Show.) while some music were reused from Nanoboy but with a rearrangement. Sound Design by John Batkis who's worked for canadian cartoons and for mostly in Nelvana shows and much limited/wacky sound effects in a similar fashion to Johnny Test and they used him instead of Two Rooms Editorial and StereoImage Productions, Pte., Ltd. All Nanoboy segments use Two Rooms Editorial while some The Oscar Show/Nanoboy segments use StereoImage Productions, Pte., Ltd. Produced by Scrawl Studios Pte.
