Evolution Simulation v1.9 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Instructions: Click Play Algae (food) will grow for a few moments before 10 unique species spawn. Scroll down to see meanings. Press space or "p" to pause the game, change Mutation Chance and Algae Growth, and see the average color. Press space again to hide menu. Turn on turbo mode for even faster algae growth. Hover organism and press "k" to kill it. Hold "a" key to grow algae under mouse position. v1.5 Update: Press "s" to spawn a new species. Every species has traits. Press "t" to see the current traits. vis = visibility (how far an organism can see) strng = strength (currently doesn't do anything) speed = speed (how fast organism moves, increased speed means more energy loss) size = size (how big it is, bigger size means more energy loss) met = metabolism (how fast an organisms energy depletes) f/r = fight or run instinct (currently doesn't do anything) rep = replication time (how long an organism has to wait before replicating) color = color (shows different species, different color means different traits) life = lifespan (the maximum length an organism can live) These fictional organisms can replicate on their own if they have enough energy. If they run out of energy, they will die. v1.0 First Release v1.5 Update - Better vision detection and spawning of new species with "s" key. v1.7 Update - Space or "p" to pause, organisms can be dragged to new locations. v1.8 Update - Lifespan carryover fix. v1.9 Update - Hold "a" key to grow algae wherever your mouse is.
