It was Frostclaw's first moon as a warrior, and it was also the election! It was so exciting! Frostclaw couldn't run yet, because she didn't have an apprentice, but she didn't want to be leader anyway. She could vote though, which was cool. "Who are you voting for, Frostclaw?" Sandypaw asked. "I wish I could vote, but I'm still an apprentice." "I dunno." Frostclaw shrugged. "I could vote for Fennelbloom, but she's already leader and she hasn't really done much. But I'm not sure if Blossomwing's promises will be fulfilled either? Does she really think she can keep us well fed during leaf-bare?" Sandypaw shrugged. "Only time will tell. Besides, I think both are good. At least someone like Wildheart isn't running for leader." "Yeah." Frostclaw said. Frostclaw didn't want to hate her clanmates, but Wildheart was crazy, always getting in fights and causing trouble. Lilyfeather walked up to them. "Hi!" She said. "I'm running for clan leader! I'm going to strengthen WindClan's relations with the other clans at gatherings and enhance our food supply using tunnel hunting!" She walked away. "Wow." Sandypaw said. "Ever since she got an apprentice, she's been so mature. Remember when she goofed off constantly as a apprentice." "Yeah." Frostclaw said. "I don't think I'm voting for her, anyway. But I think she'd be an okay leader. I don't think much will go wrong in this election." "Cats of WindClan!" They both looked up at the tallrock. Standing on top of it was Wildheart. "I am running for clan leader, and I'm about to explain why you should vote for me!" "Crap." Frostclaw muttered. "If she wins, we're going to war." "Don't worry, Frostclaw." Sandypaw said. "There's no way a cat like that could win the election." "Yeah." Frostclaw said. "That would never happen."
