Today I’ll be applying for Shatterkit, the nervous-looking Tom of this litter, also known as Shatter. Personality overview. (+)Observant, Creative, Empathetic (=) Quiet, Cautious, Guarded (-) Self-destructive, Guilty, Timid Long personality. Shatterkit’s regard of himself is strictly negative. He is harshly critical of himself, to the point that he can’t even recognize anything except where he goes wrong. He is quick to cry, weak. Sensitive to the point of being brought to the brink of tears from a joke. He just can’t help his emotions from flooding through, despite his desperate attempts otherwise. He is by no means brave at all. The thought of any kind of danger terrifies him, especially the danger of failure. He feels that if allows himself impulse, the only possible outcome is another screwup. As a result, he cuts himself off from the world and spends as much time in isolation as possible. Who would want to be friends with someone as worthless as him anyways? Shatter is the lone bearer of his guilt-ridden conscience. Looking past his mistakes is impossible, and the burning feeling of wrong never goes away. It builds up in him, and he can’t do anything to get rid of it. He carries the weight of each and every one of his past faults on his shoulders. Not only that, but the weight of his future faults as well. He gets hung up on the possibility of having to add to his burden, having to carry even more guilt, and ends up spiralling down a path of what might happen. But what Shatterkit doesn’t realise is that his flaws aren’t all there is to him. Being so familiar with his own lack of self worth, he is especially aware of when those and other negative feelings surface in the cats around him. He is deeply empathetic and knowledgeable on the emotions of others, able to pick up on subtle hints that something might be wrong. While few and far between, the cats that Shattwr allows himself to love never have their feelings overlooked. He makes sure that if they ever feel lonely or sad or anything short of happy he helps as much as he’s able to. Shatterkit’s view on the world is fearful, but at the same time unique. When he pushes himself to express himself, he often does so in creative ways. He brings more out-of-the-box ideas to the table when he’s able to bring himself to, offering a more imaginative perspective. His mind often wanders through escapist and idealistic possibilities. He is a daydreamer at heart, perhaps the only thing about him that hasn’t changed from his past. Gender(future and current). Shatterkit is a normal cisgender kit, staying with he/him pronouns. However, a while after his warrior ship, he starts to feel a little more off tracked and becomes non-binary (they/them) Future Sexuality.
