After a messenger got through the offensive German lines, they delivered the good news, Alatri was going to help us in this war, hope reinvigorated our troops and fleets. We pushed back German offensive lines, new ships and fleets coming in day by day, even the factory workers had been inspired to go on. New recruits all over the country flooded into our training camps. The day we would free our country at last seems finally in sight.
