GLaDOS along with the robots occupying the facility spend their time testing on the humans which were cryogenically frozen, most of them dying. Although GLaDOS is aware of the surface and the Seven Hour War as well as the Combine Invasion, as well as their defeat, she's chosen to mostly ignore it and continue testing.
