The Helix Organization --------------------------- Info Leader: IODOS Estimated Population: 875 Strength: %59.96 -----------Story------------- The Helix Organization is a top-secret Aperture division named after its founder, David Helix Burrows. Before the war, it was created as Aperture's multiversal teleportation research division to compete with Black Mesa's Anomalous Materials subsidiary. The faction was extremely classified, and only elite top-performing employees were invited to contribute to the organization. After GLaDOS killed all of the scientists with neurotoxin, Helix had secretly evaded the facility and taken up the ruins of Old Aperture as their main base of operations. Under the guidance of Doctor Burrows, they were able to create a central mainframe of their own using scrapped parts. Burrows' conscious was uploaded into the robot. Burrows, now taking the name 'IODOS', swiftly killed all the organization's members after the operation was completed, replacing them with robotic counterparts. IODOS believed humans were imperfect and needed to be eradicated. After building an army and taking the fight to GLaDOS herself, he was swiftly defeated by his old colleague and love interest, and banished into android hell. But the physical scars were nothing compared to the emotional ones. In Android Hell, IODOS began reconstructing his army and remains there to this day. Getting stronger by the second... The Helix Organization, among other nefarious deeds, is known for sending secret operatives from Android Hell to the lab, attempting to gain GLaDOS' power. Whenever a robot or important figure is kidnapped by Helix to correlate with their plan, they leave an 'H' near the crime scene to signify Helix's involvement.
