Hello Everyone, World Reef Day, observed annually on June 1st, is a day dedicated to honouring and acknowledging the critical role that coral reefs play in our marine ecosystems. It’s a day to raise awareness about the importance of these vibrant underwater cities and the threats they face from climate change, pollution, and overfishing. Coral reefs are not only biodiversity hotspots, supporting a quarter of all marine species, but they also protect coastlines, support fisheries, and drive tourism economies.
