Major General O'Connor, CO of the 13th Airborne Division was interviewed by BCT anchors at 11:43 PM Southern Time at Shodu Airbase, Naidun, where he said "In light of recent events, the 13th Airborne Division will be at optimal readiness. As I understand it, my peers in Bluecat are working tirelessly to keep us out of what could be a long war in West Mersiva, however, sometimes diplomacy fails, and at that point the lethal machine that is the Military puts boots on the ground. We will be the first to respond to any provocation, any false move by the west. Rest assured, we will be ready, should the time come, there will be no hesitation in my men."
