After months of procrastination, I’ve decided to just bite the bullet and write this project. I’m leaving Scratch. So many times over the past months of inactivity, I told myself I’d be more active. Tomorrow, next week, next month—but it just never happened. And I’m sorry for that. I know I’ve let people down—Tawnyvow never had my attention like previous roleplay characters did, and I hardly ever talk to people on here anymore. I never thought I'd say this, but I’ve outgrown Scratch. I’m 18 now. I’ll be a full-time student at a university in a few months. I need to get my life together, not worry about roleplays on a site for 10-year-olds. That being said, I’m grateful for my time on Scratch. I’ve learned a lot, grown a lot, and met a lot of truly amazing people. I won’t be writing individual messages to friends here, as I don’t want to unintentionally leave anyone out, but to all my Scratch friends, /thank you./ We may never encounter each other irl, but you all have a special place in my heart, and I’ll look back on memories with you all with immense fondness. While I am leaving all roleplays and other commitments on Scratch, I’ll still check in occasionally, so feel free to stop by for a chat. I’m on a few other sites as well, which you can see here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/951659888/#comments-407765590 Speaking of roleplays, here’s what will happen to my few remaining characters: Tawnyvow will leave the Clans behind to explore beyond their borders. Morgana will disappear under circumstances so theatrically mysterious and violent that they must have been staged… right? In any case, she'll definitely be gone. Bianca is leaving as well, in a desperate bid to find her missing mate. If any of my friends in ToL (or whatever RP(s) she’s in; I don’t even know at this point lol /lh) want to do a goodbye/final roleplay, lmk. (To be clear, none of the above characters are dead, they have simply left. They may have further adventures ahead of them, but if I end up sharing any of it on the Internet, it won’t be on Scratch, except for possible leaving RPs/SRPs.) Last, Savannahmoth will contract a fast-moving disease and die peacefully, followed shortly by her mother due to the same sickness. I’m terrible at writing conclusions, so I guess I’ll just thank all you kind, wonderful Scratchers out there—friends, acquaintances, people I look up to. You have shaped my years on Scratch and given me countless lovely memories. I may have outgrown Scratch, but I won’t forget you guys. Bye for now.
