..don't click space. it totally doesn't show gabe wearing the other character's clothes lol animation for ‘em: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1030880394/ I named this character 'Gabriel' after the Angel Gabriel, who is in Christianity. Some other random names I've come up with are Xavier, Christopher, and Isaac. It's up to you to choose a name for him! But for the backstory I'm gonna call him Gabriel. Personality: He is an innocent and curious soul with a bubbly personality, who tries to make everyone happy. He doesn't understand how some people are just not as kind and treats everyone the same: with respect! (unless you somehow make him mad, of course!) Voice Claim: Lyney, from Genshin Impact Birthday: April 27 Zodiac Sign: Taurus MBTI: ENFP-T Facts about Gabriel: •He’s an animal guy. I can just see that. •Since he’s lived for so long, he can’t wrap his head around modern slang. •He likes stars and constellations, enjoying to stargaze from his bedroom window whenever he has trouble sleeping. •He's a bit of a people pleaser, so others may not like him as much for his eagerness to help others so much. (small heads up that this backstory includes the existence of Gods and Heaven! It's just an idea, so please don't link this with any irl stuff :D) Backstory: It's no surprise that angels outlive humans. They don't age, nor will they ever meet their passing unless they have sinned. Gabriel is the exception. His mother is an angel, and his father is a normal human. As a punishment for their forbidden love, the Gods cast a curse on his parents, that their first-born son was to be an outcast. A half angel, if you will. He was to be half blind from birth, and instead of the gift of immortality, Gabriel's lifespan would last 500 years. And the worst punishment? Gabriel will never see the gates of Heaven ever. Gabriel never knew he was different, as his parents had always told him that he was a regular angel, like his mother. Soon after his father's de@th at the age of 20, he found himself being spoiled and babied by his mother, who seems to be so attached to him that she refused to let him leave their abode without telling her or without a curfew out of fear that he might be badly influenced by humans. Gabriel was home-schooled, and he wasn't allowed to leave the house after midnight, nor was he allowed to leave before 5 in the morning. Young Gabriel never found this odd, being the innocent and obedient child he was. He instead saw this as how his mother displays her affection and how much she cares for him without knowing that he was stripped of his free will. As the decades passed, he realised that the rules his mother had set were starting to get stricter and stricter. At around 150, his mother ended up becoming a fallen angel, a sinned heavenly being that the Gods had now rejected and refused as their own. Gabriel was obviously fumed at the Gods' choice in harming his own mother who 'took care of him' for so many years, so having a reckless idea in mind, he sneaked out and tried to go to heaven to confront them himself, only to find that he wasn't even welcomed in the gates of Heaven, which left him with hundreds of questions. But there was no way he could ask his mother, or he would be forced to tell her that he sneaked out in the middle of the night without her permission. So, he stayed silent, his head throbbing with questions. This went on for a decade, until he finally mustered enough courage to ask his mom the question he was asking himself for 10 years: "...Am I a real angel, mother?" His mother got defensive about the question and immediately reassured him that he was like any other ordinary angel, like how she used to be and then ignored any other questions he had for the next few years. He was so confused. If he was an angel, why wasn't he allowed in heaven? Was he a fallen angel? His wings weren't black though, so what was happening?? He's around 300 now, and yet he still doesn’t understand who he is. None of the books in his house gave him any information, no one is giving him an information. Gabriel is frustrated, and so he decides that he is going to find out one way or another, no matter how many rules he’s going to have to break. (idk this this is good enough cause it's kinda cliché- but here you go! I hope you enjoy it at least. I'm not the best at making interesting backstories but at least I know I gave it my best!)
