SEE ALL LEVELS AND DIFFICULTIES HERE: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/35307391/ Night Valley is a small side project I'm working on here at Scratch. This is an alpha test of the 1st level; Garden (Easy). I plan to make a hard version of this at some point. LOOK BELOW FOR CONTROLS AND INSTRUCTIONS Controls: Space - Bloom M - Toggle Metronome (Kinda cheating) Instructions: This level has 3 cues. You can tell by how the sprout moves, or the sound cues. Single: A droplet sound, accompanied by the sprout moving up completely. Press Space on the next beat to hit the note. Quad: 3 droplet sounds getting progressively higher, accompanied by the sprout inching upwards every beat. Press Space on the 4th beat to hit the note. Half: 2 quick, high pitched droplet sounds, accompanied by two sprouts. Press Space half a beat ahead of the 2nd drop, and press it again after another half beat. Bugs: -Sometimes the in-game metronome is off beat. If notes are coming early, pressing the green flag should fix it. -The pot doesn't bounce to the beat when the 2nd and 3rd sounds from the Quad cue are playing. -Miss sound doesn't play if you simply don't hit a note. But missing a note this way will still affect your score in the end calculation. -Holding Space can bug out the scoring system.
Credit goes to Half Asleep Games who made the game Melatonin, which is my inspiration for this game. I highly recommend you try Melatonin out on Switch, Steam, and PlayStation, it's great. Free assets were used for the sound effects, all code and visuals were written and drawn by me. Music was also made by me.
