I woke up, startled, obviously, to Will looking over me pretty much nose to nose. I'll be honest I'm pretty grateful to him for getting me out of that nightmare but he still scared me being so in my face like that."Will! Why the hell were you so in my face! Also, a more important question, how long was I asleep for?" he looked oddly well rested and, as i looked around and realised, he had moved a couple things around in the back of the truck to make it more spaced out and comfier for us to sit in on our journey which could end in doom, gloom and destruction for both of us. "Well, i just saw a gas station that said 'Carolina Petrol' so I think we're in North Carolina so our next stop is Virginia." Will answered matter-of-factly "Okay." I replied, after studying will a bit more I noticed he was avoiding my eyes and staring at the floor fiddling with the string of the blue rope bracelet I gave him for his birthday when we were 10, this was a telltale sign he was worried. "Hey Will, are you okay you're doing the thing again?" I asked curiously. He was zoned out. I snapped my fingers. "Hey! Earth to Will Solace! You there or no?" "Huh!....Oh yeah Hero I'm fine, I'm just worried about when we get to New York, what'll we do then?" "We'll be okay we'll get a cab to Long Island and see what my mum was talking about." "I guess you're right we'll be okay...But what if those monster cashiers come back?" "Then we'll have to avoid all Walmart chains like the bubonic plague." He laughed. I smiled. I always know how to make him laugh! "Anyway" Will said, looking up into the sky, the sun was steadily rising in the sky. It was dawn, great. "Wanna get some breakfast at the next Gas Station or wait?" I thought for a minute as the truck drove into a parking lot by a cafe, perfect timing am I right! "how about now?"
